I live in the region of Thomas Hardy’s Wessex - near the south coast of England.  I am interested in writing poetry, taking landscape photos of Hardy’s Wessex particularly along the coast.

I also enjoy swimming, reading Thomas Hardy, gardening, genealogy and travelling.  My camera often ‘takes me for a walk’!

I was born in Lancashire but moved to Somerset in my youth. I trained as a teacher but I am now retired.

I enjoy making short movies, that will hopefully integrate my other hobbies in a meaningful way.  One of my ongoing projects is to make movies from my pictures of  Wessex ‘places’.

I dedicate this site to my children Eleanor and James who bring meaning to my life, my mother and to my late father who was always there for me.
